A LOCAL MSP has organised for a 'North Ayrshire employment fayre' to take place this weekend.
Kenneth Gibson is now inviting all those who may be looking for work, or that may know someone who is, to come along to the event on Friday, June 21 - with 13th he has organised since 2013.
He is also encouraging those considering a change in direction to attend the fayre which will be taking place in Saltcoats Town Hall on Countess Street from 9am until 12pm.
There will be around 40 employers and organisations at the event covering a range of different routes into employment including training and apprenticeships.
Mr Gibson said: “This is a terrific opportunity both for employers and people looking for work.
“Businesses and organisations from different sectors, with vacancies to suit different ages, skill sets, interests and aspirations will participate.
“I’m delighted that so many employers have come on board to make this event happen.
“I urge local people and anyone looking for a job, or a return to work, to come along and see the range of employment and training opportunities on offer.
“I’m keen to see as many people as possible match up with our employers.”
