Two talented girls from Dalry Primary School took the National Burns Federation finals by storm this month.
Alex Conn and Cadi Hughes won through the Ayrshire heats to represent the county at the national finals in Greenock on Saturday, June 1.
There, Alex was named Scotland's winner for P4/5 singing, while Cadi came second in Scotland for P4/5 poetry.
And the primary school team were delighted by their amazing achievements.
A school spokesperson said: "We are so proud of Alex and Cadi for representing Dalry Primary School and the whole of Ayrshire at the National Burns Federation Finals in Greenock on Saturday, June 1.
"Alex sang beautifully and she was the overall winner for P4/5 Singing in the whole of Scotland. We are so proud of her and what an amazing achievement for Alex and her family.
"Cadi from P4 was the Ayrshire Winner of the P4/5 Poetry and P4/5 Singing. Cadi performed Willie Wastle and sang Rantin Rovin Robin and was second in Scotland for her poetry.
"We were so proud of the girls at the Ayrshire Finals in March and even more proud at the Scottish Finals.
"We would like to send a huge thanks to Dalry Burns Club for their continued support of our yearly Burns competition and the Ayrshire and Scottish Finals."
