A car crash happened on a busy North Ayrshire road at tea-time on Saturday.
Police have confirmed that one man was arrested following the collision on the trunk road in West Kilbride.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.25pm on Saturday, 22 June, officers were called to a two-vehicle crash on the A78 in West Kilbride.
"There were no reported injuries and one man was reported for a road traffic offence."
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
