Staff and pupils at Coreshill Primary School in Kilwinning said farewell to popular teacher Mrs Rosemary Grier at the end of term last week.

She has retired from teaching after 38 years in the profession and the school held a special celebration to mark the occasion.

A Corsehill spokesperson said: "She has worked in Brunei and Germany but we are so grateful that she found her way to Corsehill.

"She has been a valued member of the Corsehill community for many many years and will be missed by everyone."

Congratulations to Mrs Grier and we hope she enjoys a long and happy retirement.
