The Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Stevenston branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland will celebrate Armed Forces Day tomorrow (Saturday, June 29).
The events will start with a service at Saltcoats War Memorial at noon, where all will be welcome.
This will be followed by refreshments in Saltcoats Masonic from 2-6pm, where the Legion hope members of the community will join them for entertainment, karaoke, food and a drink or two.
Entry will be free as a thank you to the community for their support during the branch's Centenary year.
Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Stevenston (SAS) branch president Paul Coffey said: "On Saturday, June 29 we will be celebrating our Armed Forces, what has been achieved in the past, what is being achieved today and the Armed Forces achievers of the future - never forgetting those families and supporters without whom the Armed Forces would surely not have achieved as much."
He added: "The SAS branch has been informed the council budget will not stretch to flowers for our War Memorials, so we are looking at other ways to ensure our memorials are looking great for our community during the summer months.
"Any help from the public would be welcome."
