RAIL services between Ayrshire and Glasgow are returning to normal after a person was struck by a train in Renfrewshire.
The incident happened between Milliken Park and Howwood on the morning of Friday, July 12.
Services on the Ayr, Largs and Ardrossan routes were suspended north of Kilwinning, with replacement buses transporting passengers between Kilwinning and Paisley Gilmour Street.
Passengers travelling from Glasgow to Ayrshire were advised to use Gourock/Wemyss Bay services as far as Paisley Gilmour Street, where replacement transport to Ayrshire was available.
A ticket acceptance scheme was also in place with bus operators McGill's and Stagecoach.
ScotRail announced at 2.15pm that services were returning to normal.

However, trains are not calling at Milliken Park for the time being.
