The Saltcoats Sea Queen Festival returned at the weekend, with two days of brilliant family entertainment.
Queen Keira-Leigh Conway, from Caledonia Primary, was crowned at midday on Saturday at the harbourside following a grand parade, which left from Saltcoats Labour Club.
She was supported by her Captain Liam O'Hagan, from St Anthony's Primary, ladies-in-waiting Sophie Baker, from Mayfield Primary, Maisie Brown and Beth Hood, both from Dykesmains Primary, and Crown Bearer Miley.
And her proud Buccaneers this year were Robbie Difolco, from Dykesmains, Jaiden Alexander, from Mayfield and Colin O'Reilly from Caledonia.
After the crowning ceremony, the day continued in fine style with plenty of entertainment for all the kids and adults to enjoy, including entertainer Uncle Billly.
A visit from the Langside Alpacas proved a bit hit with the wee ones, and quite of few of the bigger visitors too.
And the fun continued on Sunday too, with some brilliant entertainment provided at the park next to Oscars between 12.30pm and 4pm
Lady Gaga and Neil Diamond tribute acts kept the crowd happy with loads of stalls for all to enjoy and plenty to keep the kids occupied.
Congratulations to all the amazing royal party, the hard-working Saltcoats Sea Queen Committee for staging another brilliant event and to all who supported the festival in any way.
