West Kilbride's Twa Dugs pub are bringing their popular real ale festival back to the village for a third year.

The popular bar is preparing for a three day event at the end of next month, running from Friday, August 23 to Sunday, August 25.

And you can expect a few delights from some special guest breweries to make an appearance at the festival this year.

While the full line up has yet to be revealed, as always the beer festival will feature variety of ales and brews and food and drink for all to enjoy.

There will be some extra special varieties of gin to try out as well, we're told, and live music on the Friday and Saturday evenings is being arranged.
