The Seamill House Hotel is now under new ownership, following a sale by property company Christie & Co.
News of of the deal was confirmed on July 16, with the new owner of the property announced as businessman Suraj Thapa.
Local residents were shocked when the hotel closed suddenly at the end of January this year, with the loss of 30 jobs.
However, within a month, the nine bedroom hotel reopened with a new team in charge.
Now the Ardrossan Road hotel has a new owner, but no details have yet been revealed of future plans for the venue, or whether the current management team at the Seamill House will remain in place.
The boutique hotel boasts stunning views over the Firth of Clyde and also boasts and a popular bar and restaurant.
Christie and Co said new owner Mr Thapa, who owns another hotel in Aberdeenshire, was "keen to grow the business going forward".
Tony Spence, associate director at Christie & Co, added: "We are delighted to announce the off-market sale of the Seamill House Hotel in Seamill.
"This is the second sale on the same street within the last 12 months, with Christie & Co having sold the neighbouring Seamill Hydro Hotel for the Sweeney and Kyle families back in October 2023.
"This demonstrates that there is appetite to acquire great businesses within this area of Scotland, and we would urge anyone who is considering a sale to get in touch for a confidential and no obligation chat on how we can assist.”
