A teenager has been reported missing in North Ayrshire, sparking a police appeal for sightings from the public.

Harley Craig, 17, was last seen around 9.15pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 in Ladysmith Road, Kilbirnie.

He is described as around 5ft 9 inches in height, with a slim build, chin-length brown hair and brown eyes.

When he was last seen he was wearing black jogging trousers, a Nike black top and black Nike trainers.

Officers are checking relevant CCTV footage from in and around the area.

Earlier this week, officers had put out another appeal to track down the same teenager, though he was traced safe and well a short time later.

Police say Harley is believed to be in the Kilbirnie area, but he also has connections in Paisley and Glasgow.

Sergeant Joe Murdoch said: “If anyone has seen Harley or has any information as to where he may be, please contact us so we know he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked to call officers via 101, quoting incident number 4120 of 17 July, 2024.
