Good news for Three Towns fairground lovers: the carnival will be staying on Ardrossan's South Beach for another week.

Ardrossan Community Development Trust, who brought the big event to town, have managed to extend the stay of Smith's Family Attractions are the site.

The carnival originally opened on July 4 and was supposed to leave yesterday (Sunday, July 21).

Now the attractions will remain in place at the South Beach site until next Sunday, July 28.

If you haven't already paid a visit to the carnival, you can prepare to be dazzled by an array of thrilling rides and attractions.

For the final week, these will include waltzer, twist (Wednesday and the last day), ghost train,. funhouse, runaway train, simulator, astro glide, safari inflatable, toy ride, tea cups, mini chairs, mini wheel, train ride, kids flying elephants, water walkers, bungee trampolines, penalty shootout, prize stalls and all the food of the fair.

All rides are two tokens per person  and bungee trampolines and water walkers will be four tokens per person.

The carnival will run daily from 1-8pm, weather permitting. Please note that some ride restrictions may apply.
