LOCALS will be offered a chance to take a trip down memory lane at an event taking place in Saltcoats this weekend.
On Saturday, July 27, community group SeaSalt Streets will be hosting a number of activities on Dockhead Street.
Amongst those will be the iconic childhood game 'kerbie' - or kerby - which is sure to bring back fond memories for many. No matter how you spell, or pronounce, it can be agreed that the game is great fun.
Those heading along to the event, which begins at 10am, will be able to check if they still have the skills they once had.
There will also be a chance to try out the other activities set up on the day, and enjoy the various craft stations which will also be available.
The group organised a similar pop-up event last year, outside of the former Trinity Church, with hundred of people interacting during that time.
A group spokesperson said: "Come along and relive past glories - or have a go at a game you have never tried before!"
