The Elders of Livingstone Parish Church gathered for the last time recently to commemorate the closure of the congregation before the union of the Churches of Scotland in Stevenston.
The new union will be formed next week, on August 1, when the three congregations unite to form Stevenston Parish Church.
The move was agreed earlier this year after reports of dwindling congregations in churches across the Three Towns in recent years.
An interim moderator for the new Stevenston Parish Church has yet to be confirmed.
