Kilbirnie's annual emergency services day was a huge hit at the weekend.
Visitors got a chance to check out a wide range of specialist vehicles, including fire appliances, police vehicles old and new, and ambulances, including the Special Operations Response Team, Strathclyde 4x4 Response and the Scottish Emergency Rider Volunteer Service, as well as meeting the coastguard team.
The free events, spread across the town’s ambulance station, fire station and Scout hall, also featured a host of local groups and organisations providing information on their work.
Ian McMeekin, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Local Senior Officer for Ayrshire said on X (formerly Twitter): "Had a fantastic time at the Emergency Services Open Day at Kilbirnie Community Fire Station and neighbouring Ambulance Station today.
"Brilliant engagement from all services and partner organisations.
"A huge thanks to everyone involved for such an informative and enjoyable day."
