Ferry services between Arran and Ardrossan could face disruption today with winds of up to 41mph hitting the coast.
CalMac has issued a warning to passengers that some sailings between Brodick and the mainland could face cancellation.
The ferry firm updated their Ardrossan to Brodick service status today to say: "Due to stronger than forecast winds gusting up to 41mph, this service is liable to cancellation or disruption at short notice.
"We’ll keep customers informed should there be any further changes in connection to this route.
"If you’ve not already done so, download our app or follow our X (Twitter) @CalMac_Updates so we can provide you with timely updates, with the latest information we have available. Alternatively, you can also sign up to our service status text updates."
Services between Arran and Troon Harbour have been unaffected so far, with some additional sailings added to boost capacity.
