A DALRY restaurant and takeaway have their sights set on further award success - after receiving a trio of nominations for top gongs.
Zain's Curry House is no stranger to success, having claimed a plethora of awards during their time in the town.
And the coming month is set to be another big one, with three different ceremonies to attend.
So far, the business has been named as a finalist across a number of categories in the Food Awards Scotland, The Spice Awards and the Asian Food Awards.
Owner Khurum Jabbar is hoping to bring the titles home when the various finals nights come along - and says it is just reward for the hard work of the Zain's team.
He commented: "We are hoping for another win! We love the awards, shows how amazing our team do and it’s an amazing night for them at the awards nights.
"I would like to thank our team from front house staff to the chefs to even the delivery guys! You all do an amazing job and it makes a team to make the dream work!"
While he was also quick to thank the curry house's customers, who make all of this possible.
Khurum continued: "We would like to thank all our customers for all the support over the years. We wouldn’t be where we are now if it wasn’t because of them.
"They have shown us so much love and truly supported their local business. We can’t thank them enough!"
And the business added a new customer to their growing list earlier this month - with a famous face paying Zain's a visit.
Former Rangers star Nacho Novo popped in to grab a kebab on August 14, after the curry house was recommended to him.
Currently a coach at West of Scotland Football League club Drumchapel United, Novo was en route home following his side's away fixture with Largs Thistle that night.
Khurum said: "It was a surreal experience for the staff. We were not expecting a high calibre name to just turn up for a kebab. He was a gentleman and took pictures with the staff.
"The staff were all overwhelmed and excited. He was with three other gentlemen who were all very nice.
"They all said that was the best kebab they ever had and even said that they would definitely drive from Glasgow every weekend to make it their local.
"The recommendation was great to hear. So many people ranting and raving about our small business shows we are doing something good!"
