Ferry crossings between Ardrossan and Brodick are facing delays due to a technical issue on the MV Isle of Arran.
Sailings are around two hours behind schedule on Wednesday, August 28 after a problem with the vessel's port engine gearbox, which has thankfully now been resolved.
A further update from the company is expected this afternoon.
A CalMac spokesperson said: "Due to a (now resolved) technical issue with the vessel's port engine gearbox, the 11.05am departing Brodick and 12.30am departing Ardrossan were delayed.
"MV Isle of Arran departed Brodick at 1pm (the delayed 11.05am sailing). Due to the knock on effect, sailings will operate with an approximately two hour delay."
