THE team from the Dalry Health Centre have made a plea to patients, after revealing the number of appointments which were missed last week.
In a post made on social media, the medical practice confirmed that there were 29 'no shows' over the course of their operational days.
They added further context to the situation, explaining that the time these appointments took up would equate to more than a full day of a doctor's time.
The statement said: "We are sad to report that last week we had a total of 29 appointments where our patients did not show up.
"As a practice we try so hard and are always keeping an eye on our availability to ensure we keep our wait time to a minimum.
"If you are unable to make your appointment, please let us know – we can give it to someone else who may need it."
