CalMac have now cancelled two sailings between Ardrossan and Brodick following gearbox trouble on the MV Isle of Arran.
We reported on Wednesday, August 28 that the engine problems had led to two hour delays to sailings, with an update on the rest of the service to be announced.
Now the company have confirmed that the 3.20pm sailing from Ardrossan and the 4.40 sailing from Arran have been cancelled - to allow the crew to get some rest.
But the good news is that the service should be operating as normal from 6pm.
CalMac said: "Due the impact of crew hours of rest, the 3.20pm departing Ardrossan and 4.40pm departing Brodick have been cancelled.
"The 6pm departing Ardrossan and 7.20pm departing Brodick will operate as normal."
