A KILWINNING fundraising legend is getting his efforts started early ahead of the Christmas season.
For the past 11 years, Michael Kirkum has been collecting donations for children's ward at Crosshouse Hospital to spread festive cheer to youngsters in a time of need.
Heading into his 12th year now, Michael is looking to get a head start on his efforts by arranging a fantastic event to raise funds towards his appeal.
Back in 2023, the Kilwinning dad organised his first ever 'Cranberry Jam' - a night of fantastic music where all money generated was donated to his local food larder.
With the event returning this year, Michael has decided that the funds raised will help support his Christmas appeal when the time comes.
The Cranberry Jam will be taking place in the Nethermains Hall in Kilwinning on Friday, November 29.
Running from 7pm-1am, fantastic entertainment has already been lined up.
Popular local performer Amanda Jean will be wowing the Kilwinning crowds, alongside Dynamix Productions, in what is sure to be an excellent evening.
There will be a bar in place at the host venue, and a prize raffle will also be taking place during the event.
Tickets are priced at £10 and can be purchased by contacting Michael Kirkum on Facebook at facebook.com/michael.kirkum.71.
Alternatively, you can by a ticket by contacting 07961 540780, 07534 381392 or 07304 003989 on WhatsApp.
