UPDATE: Police have now confirmed that Alice Hill has been found safe and well.
POLICE have launched an urgent appeal for assistance in tracing a missing Kilwinning teen last seen over four days ago.
The last known sighting of 16-year-old Alice Hill was Saturday, August 31. She was seen in her hometown at around 10.30pm that night.
Alice is described as white, around five feet and four inches tall and of a slim build.
She has shoulder-length brown hair and was last seen wearing a blue top, grey bottoms and black trainers.
Extensive enquiries into her disappearance are currently underway and have revealed that she is known to frequent the wider Ayrshire area as well as parts of Glasgow, Paisley and Lanarkshire.
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "Any sightings of Alice, or any information or knowledge as to her whereabouts, please contact Irvine Police office on the police non-emergency number, 101 - reference PS-20240831-4458."
