Recycling firm CCL (North) has given a boost to Ayrshire Cancer Support with a donation of five laptops to help the charity’s work across the area.

Company founder Bruce McLean and technical sales lead Martin Yeudall presented the laptops to Barry Hunter from the charity at CCL’s Irvine base earlier this week.

Martin said: “We’re delighted to help out Ayrshire Cancer Support with these refurbished laptops.

"We always make sure that nothing goes to waste and it’s great that they’ll be useful for the charity’s work helping people affected by cancer in Ayrshire.”

Ayrshire Cancer Support provides free practical help and emotional support to people in Ayrshire affected by cancer, and CCL has donated five refurbished laptops to the charity.

The generous donation will help their team of staff and volunteers to maintain an effective and efficient service from their centres in Kilmarnock and Ayr, as well as remotely where required.

CCL (North) is part of the Optimum Eco Group, Scotland’s leading recycler of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

This donation is part of the company’s commitment to supporting local charities and working towards Net Zero by keeping equipment in use.
