NORTH Ayrshire Council is set to launch its revamped website, offering residents improved access and new features.

The updated site, which has been redesigned with feedback from residents, will go live on September 16.

To mark the launch, a series of one-hour sessions will be held in libraries across North Ayrshire, giving people the chance to explore the new features first-hand.

The new website aims to make it easier for users to find the information they need.

The search function has been improved, making it simpler to locate content pages, news articles, and documents.

A menu in the top right corner of every page will provide easy access to online services and information from anywhere on the site.

A 'top task' feature on the homepage will offer quick access to the most frequently used tasks, and will be updated based on service needs and user data.

A show-and-hide tool will allow users to control how much content they want to see.

News articles will have a magazine-style layout, with a share button that lets users send articles across social media.

The one-hour sessions in libraries will be held on the following dates:

  • September 16: Dalry Library (11am-12pm) [POSTPONED], Kilbirnie Library (2pm-3pm), Saltcoats Library (2.30pm-3.30pm).
