A TECHNO rave at the famous METRO nightclub in Saltcoats is set to last more than seven hours.
On October 11, the nightclub - which reopened earlier this year - is teaming up with RETROSPECT and TRANSCEND to bring the first ever 360 hard techno rave to the venue.
The rave will last for more than seven hours and will have a strong line-up which will be announced later this week.
A METRO spokesperson said: "Ayrshire has been waiting for a huge hard techno rave in this famous club since Transcend’s hugely successful Double Sell Out on its opening weekend in February.
"This is an event you don't want to miss - spread the word around these towns."
