AN Ardrossan café is set to close the doors of its second branch just six months after opening.
Popular business Moka opened its second branch in North Ayrshire on Largs' Main Street back in March.
Their last day of trading will be Sunday, September 15, where customers will receive a 15 per cent discount as a token of appreciation.
The plant-based and vegetarian food business have stated the "challenging demand" for their services and the summer have contributed towards the decision to close at short notice.
A spokesperson said: "It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Moka Largs.
"Our last day of trading will be September 15, and as a token of our appreciation, we would like to offer a 15 per cent discount on everything over the weekend as a thank you for your support over the months.
"We understand that this news may come as a disappointment, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
"We have carefully considered this decision, and unfortunately, the challenging demand for our services and the unpredictable weather this summer have made it unsustainable for us to continue operating.
"We want to express our deepest gratitude for your love and support throughout our journey at Moka Largs.
"Your patronage has meant the world to us, and we are truly thankful for the opportunity to have served you.
"Thank you once again for being a part of our story. We will always cherish the memories we’ve made with each and every one of you."
