EMERGENCY crews raised to the scene of a house fire in Beith in the early hours of Tuesday, September 17.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) sent five engines to Bellman's Close in the town shortly before 1am.
One person received a precautionary check up at the scene but did not require further treatment at hospital.
Fire crews later extinguished the blaze and left the street after ensuring the area was made safe.
The suspected cause of the fire has not been disclosed at this stage.
A SFRS spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 0.56am on Tuesday, September 17, to reports of a dwelling fire in Beith, North Ayrshire.
"Operations Control mobilised five fire appliances to the town's Bellman's Close, where firefighters extinguished the fire and worked to make the area safe before leaving the scene.
"One casualty received a precautionary check-up at the scene from paramedics but did not require further treatment."
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We received a call at 1.19am to attend an incident at Bellman’s Close, Beith.
"An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and no patients required hospital treatment.”
