CHILDREN'S Hearings Scotland are currently recruiting panel members in Ayrshire.
And a virtual information event is being held for those interested in becoming a volunteer on Wednesday, September 18, from 7pm to 8.30pm.
Some 2,500 amazing people already volunteer to be part of the Children’s Hearings Scotland community, otherwise known as the Children’s Panel.
The volunteers make sure that all Scotland’s infants, children and young people feel safe, loved, valued and respected. It’s an important role that is hugely rewarding, but more panel members are urgently required.
If you can show compassion, empathy, trust and are a good listener, could you join them?
The deadline for the current national recruitment is Monday, September 30.
If you would like to attend the virtual session or find out more, email the Ayrshire Area Support team at Ayrshire-AST@north-ayrshire.gov.uk.
