NORTH Ayrshire residents have been invited to a weekend of pumpkin picking and scary fun, just in time for Hallowe'en.

The event has been organised at Beith's Geilsland Estate on Saturday and Sunday, October 19 and 20.

And Beith Trust are promising a "spooktacular adventure" to delight kids of all ages.

A spokesperson said: "Embrace the season's spirit with a day filled with laughter, creativity, and, of course, pumpkins galore.

"We’ll have spooky arts and crafts, our haybale maze, photo opportunities, active fun, puzzles and so much more available to enjoy.

"Attendees are welcome to come along in fancy dress to really soak up the Hallowe'en spirit but we strongly recommend you wear comfortable, outdoor, shoes as the site can be slippy and wet during the autumn months."

Visitors can book a timeslot for the big event and are advised to arrive no earlier than the start time - and no later than 30 minutes before it ends, to allow everyone the chance to enjoy all they have to offer.

Limited spots are available for each session, so book your tickets now to guarantee a day of festive fall fun.

Adults go free, and tickets are £10 per child which includes your pumpkin and a spooky goodie bag on the day.

The timings are: session one - 10am-11.30am; session two - 12pm-1.30pm; session three - 2pm-3.30pm.

Tickets can be booked for Saturday here and for Sunday here.
