A MUCH-LOVED self catering property on Arran has been named Best in the West at the Scottish Thistle Awards.
The Boathouse at Littlemill took home the prize for Best Self-Catering or Unique Stay.
Situated in the picturesque village of Kildonan with uninterrupted views of the islands of Pladda and Ailsa Craig, the property was entirely designed and built by owners Max and Judi Worthington.
Judi said: “Max and I are absolutely thrilled to have won this award.
"The Boathouse is a partnership in the truest sense of the word. The combination of our skills is what helps to make the place feel so special.
"We are incredibly fortunate to live in such a beautiful location, and it gives us enormous pleasure to be able to share it.”
The couple were presented with their award at the West of Scotland Thistle Awards which were held at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow on Thursday evening.
