A SALTCOATS charity shop is celebrating a milestone anniversary this week.
The beloved shop DEBRA has now been on the Saltcoats high street for 15 years.
During this time, they’ve had three separate stores in various locations in the town.
The current store is located on 44-46 Dockhead Street and is open seven days a week.
It moved into its current location earlier this year, after the premises had lain empty for around a year.
The charity shop supports people with the genetic skin-blistering condition epidemolysis bullosa.
The condition is inherited through gene mutation, meaning the skin cannot bind together, so any trauma or friction can cause painful blisters.
A spokesperson said: "We could not do what we do without the ongoing support of our staff, volunteers and customers. Here's to the next 15 years!"
