A KILWINNING boxing club has had to increase the prices of sessions for every class.
The Duke Boxing Club has upped the cost of its classes from £3 to £4.
They moved into their 94 Main Street gym back on August 26 from East Ayrshire.
The group is also appealing for local businesses who wish to sponsor the club.
All the extra funds will go towards new heavy bags, kit, gloves and travelling to championships and shows.
A spokesperson said: “Starting from tonight we will be putting our prices up to £4 per session for every class.
"We are a small club and are looking to provide the best equipment for all involved, as well as travelling to gain the best experience for our boxers on their journey through the amateurs and we can’t do that without the help and support from the community.
“Boxing clubs are a big part of the community, and we aim to deliver our service in the best possible way for the young kids and adults who attend.”
