POLICE have issued a fresh appeal for information following a crash at the Pennyburn Roundabout in Stevenston.
Officers say that the incident took place at around 6.45am on Wednesday, September 25.
The collision involved what is described as a "dark coloured car" running into the rear of a white Audi A1.
At the time of the collision, we reported that police had responded to reports of two vehicles colliding, with one of those involved leaving the scene.
The female driver of the other vehicle was then taken to hospital to be treated for injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Any witnesses to this incident, or pertinent dashcam footage, is asked to contact Police Scotland Ayrshire on 101, reference 0580 of September 25, 2024."
