THE Metro nightclub in Saltcoats is set to host its first boxing event since re-opening earlier this year.
The club was previously unable to host such events, however, when a licensing variation was secured in June it opened the door to further plans.
'Metro Mayhem' will be taking place on Saturday, October 5, with a superb night of action planned.
Boxing will begin at 5pm, with organiser Mullen Promotions having 13 fights arranged to take place across the night.
Amongst the bouts taking place, there will be four title fights - three for World Kickboxing Association Scotland titles, and one for a Mullen Promotions belt.
And, in true Metro fashion, a fantastic night of entertainment is planned for afterwards.
Local DJ Nathan Devlin will be on the decks after the fights playing a mixed set to what is expected to be a packed out venue.
Most event tickets are with fighters, however, a limited amount are available to purchase online at skiddle.com/e/40115369.
A Metro spokesperson said: "Don’t miss this action packed night of boxing we have some top fights in store at this iconic venue."
