A BUSY route in Kilwinning is to be subject to a temporary road closure later this month.
The B778 Old Glasgow Road in the town will be shut from 7am until 5.30pm daily throughout the period of October 14-27.
The order for the works to be completed was promoted at the location to allow for bridge abutment works to take place.
The closure comes as a follow up to works completed by the contractor which saw an extended closure of the road throughout the summer period.
Those who need to divert around the route during the closure period are asked to do so via the A737, B7080 and A736 Lochlibo Road areas.
Access for emergency service and council gritting vehicles will be allowed during the closure hours.
