IT was smiles all round at Arran View as the Saltcoats care home hosted its annual autumn fayre and car boot sale.
Family, friends and the wider community came in their numbers to support the event at the Burns Avenue home at the end of last month.
The event was enjoyed by all, including many residents who were able to join in all of the fun arranged for the day.
There was something for everyone, whether it be trying their luck on the bottle stall and tombola or digging for treasure in the sand box.
Many also tried their hand at hooking a duck, hoopla or - perhaps where the most fun was had - throwing wet sponges at staff members Lee-Ann and Lynne!
The day was filled with laughter and the event was also boosted by the attendance of the Saltcoats Sea Queen royal party.
Refreshments were available too and it was great to see residents and families sitting together to enjoy a cuppa, connect and blether.
All monies raised will be put into the residents comfort fund at Arran View.
Activities co-ordinator Lee-Ann Elizabeth and care home manager Kerry McGhee wished to extend their thanks to the many businesses in the Three Towns and their service directory who supported the event with donations towards the raffle, which were greatly appreciated.
