Operators CalMac said: "Due to north-easterly winds and outwith safe operating limits of Ardrossan, MV Hebridean Isles will divert to Troon and operate the following amended timetable: Depart Troon – 6.40am, 11am and 4.20pm. Depart Brodick – 8.20am, 12.50pm and 6.10pm."

Repairs to the main Ardrossan vessel MV Caledonian Isles’ port gearbox are underway and the vessel is now expected to return to service mid-November.
MV Hebridean Isles will remain redeployed to the Ardrossan-Brodick service until Sunday, October 20.
MV Alfred will continue to operate the Troon-Brodick service. However, due to disruption on the Ardrossan-Brodick route, CalMac expect this service to be very busy. Customers without a confirmed booking are not guaranteed travel.
