ARDROSSAN'S new Hub on the Prom was officially opened on Saturday - with a fantastic free fun day for families.
And the visitors certainly seemed impressed by the hub's café and facilities.
The Ardrossan Community Development Trust, in partnership with NAC Connected Communities, Smiths Family Attractions and the renowned Blackhouse Sauna, worked hard to make the day unforgettable.
Best of all, there were free funfair rides for everyone between 1pm and 5pm on the day.
And there was plenty to keep everyone entertained on the promenade, with soft archery, badge making and face painting.
The Community Bus was present on-site to provide additional support and information for those interested in learning more about the services available in the town.
In the hub itself, visitors could enjoy a variety of amenities, including free deckchair hire and access to disability-friendly wheelers ensuring everyone could fully experience the beautiful beachfront.
A spokesperson for the Trust said: "This fun day was not just about rides and activities - it’s about celebrating Ardrossan’s largest community-led investment in a generation.
