A BUSY North Ayrshire road has been closed following a two-vehicle crash.
The A760 between Largs and Kilbirnie was shut following the collision during rush hour on Tuesday, October 15.
Police Scotland provided the update in the hours that followed the incident but have provided no further information at this time.
A force spokesperson said: "The A760 is currently closed between Largs and Kilbirnie following a crash involving two vehicles.
"The incident was reported shortly after 5.10pm. We would ask drivers to avoid the area at this time."
UPDATE: The road has since re-opened and police have issued an appeal following this crash.
