FERRIES between Ardrossan and Arran have been cancelled for most of Friday due to poor weather conditions.
CalMac revealed on Friday morning that the sailings from Brodick at 11.05am, 1.55am and 4.40pm had been cancelled, along with the crossings from Ardrossan at 12.30pm, 3.15pm and 6pm.
Meanwhile, passengers have been warned that due to the conditions, the service from Troon Harbour to Brodick is liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice
But hope remains for a sailing from Brodick to the mainland this evening.
CalMac had already switched tonight's 7.20pm sailing from Arran to Ardrossan to the earlier time of 6.45pm due to berthing constraints.
The company said weather conditions would be monitored and a review for the 6.45pm sailing from Brodick will be made later in the day.
This will be the last day the MV Hebridean Isles covers the Ardrossan route. MV Lord of the Isles will reposition to Ardrossan later on Friday and undergo crew familiarisation and berthing trials before taking over the crossing from Saturday.
