THERE'S just over two weeks to go until Kilwinning's annual fireworks spectacular.
The pyrotechnics will be kicking off with a bang on Tuesday, November 5 in the town's McGavin Park.
Last year, an estimated 4,000 people who turned out for the family-friendly display, and 10,000 turned out for the pyromusical display.
The event, organised by Kilwinning Community Events, is known for its selection of food outlets, fun kids’ rides, and entertainment on offer.
Food outlets and kids rides open at 4.30pm, and fire acts and free balloon art starts at 5pm and 5.30pm.
The fireworks family display will start at 6pm before the big show kicks off at 7.30pm.
A new £2 contribution has been introduced for those using car parks and want to support the groups who steward them.
The event reminds you not to bring DIY fireworks, alcohol or glass onsite, but bringing your own warm clothes, wellies or boots, and torch are advised.
