A SALTCOATS business is celebrating success after being hailed as Scotland's best.

On Sunday, October 20, CCUS Scotland was named as the mobile phone repair shop of the year at the Scotland Prestige Awards for the second straight year.

It was also a fourth straight victory for owner George Cameron who saw his business named best in electronic services in 2021 and 2022.

Those in the running to win at the Prestige Awards were shortlisted as finalists having received nominations.

After accepting consideration, shortlisted businesses are asked to support their nomination with evidence of their work and positive feedback from their clients.

A dedicated judging team then look at each case individually before deciding upon the award winner.

"The judges were particularly impressed by the flexibility and convenience of the services provided by us," George commented.

"The judges also mentioned about our stellar reputation for high standards and honest customer service."

The award success was particularly satisfying for the CCUS Scotland owner who has dedicated a lot of time to his work over the past 12 months.

George continued: "Over the last year I’ve worked so hard to bring the best service possible to you all.

"Along the way, mistakes have been made but at the same time these mistakes help me learn and bring in new processes to stop them happening again.

"Over the last few months in particular I’ve been working around 16-18 hours a day carrying out repairs and training to enable us to keep up to date with relevant technologies and repair methods.

"It makes me so proud that the work I’ve put in has been recognised in such a way."

George also looked to thank all those that made the Countess Street business' award win possible.

He added: "A big thanks to all my customers who have supported me throughout the years."
