KILWINNING Medical Practice have issued an announcement to patients ahead of planned construction work.
New boilers are to be fitted at the surgery on Tuesday, October 29, and Wednesday, October 30. On these two days, there will be no heating within the building.
Staff at the practice are now asking all patients who are due to attend on these days to be wary and prepared.
A spokesperson said: "The surgery will be a little cold if you are visiting on these days. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us, please wrap up if you are coming in.
"Please do not be alarmed if you see a penguin attending the practice!"
