ARDROSSAN Winton Rovers are looking for assistance from volunteers ahead of the opening of their renovated home ground.
Over the past few months, the playing surface at Winton Park has been replaced by new synthetic turf.
As well as this Astroturf being installed, the Anderson Terrace ground has also had new floodlighting installed and will have fresh changing units delivered.
Though the park will be handed over to the Ardrossan Community Sports Hub once complete - with the charity to become leaseholders - Winton are looking to ensure the whole stadium is looking in great shape once the club play there once again.
The official opening date, following renovations, is set to be Sunday, November 17, with a number of tasks required to be conducted ahead of them.
Club chairman Pat Breen is now asking locals who would be willing to lend a hand in fitting advertising boards, painting, weeding or carrying out a general tidy up to come forward.
He said: "Over the past few weeks several volunteers have been helping out with various tasks around the ground which is greatly appreciated.
"Over the next couple of weeks we would hope to get a final push to complete the outstanding works. We would greatly appreciate any help to assist us with this.
"The park will be open every day from 9.30am and if you can find the time to come along and help out it would be greatly appreciated.
"This is a major community development for the town and local area - and teas, coffees and snacks will be provided."
