THE Three Towns will pay tribute to our fallen heroes at Remembrance Services this Sunday, November 10.
The Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Stevenston Branch of Legion Scotland are organising or participating in seven services this year.
For the second year, the Legion branch will also be participating in the Remembrance Day Service at HMP Kilmarnock.
Legion President Paul Coffey said: "On the Saturday we will be holding the Poppy Scotland street collections across the Three Towns.
"It is worth noting that all money collected for Poppy Scotland goes direct to Edinburgh to support National initiatives to assist Scottish Veterans and their families.
"In theory this will be the 100th year that the local Legion has arranged/attended or supported Remembrance Services having formed in 1924.
"On Remembrance Sunday we start with Saltcoats Parade forming up at 10.30am in Bradshaw St, between Motherland Spice and Saltcoats Masonic, then following the Isle of Cumbrae Pipe Band to the memorial.
"All are welcome, those laying wreaths please make yourselves known to the Parade Marshall when you can."
The Ardrossan service will start with a parade from behind the Ardrossan Library on Princess Street at 12.30pm.
The Stevenston service will start at 1.30pm, at the junction of New St and Moorpark Road West.
Mr Coffey added: "We would like to thank in advance Isle of Cumbrae Pipe Band, Auchenharvie Academy, Saltcoats RSC, Saltcoats and Stevenston Masonic Clubs, Melbourne Cafe and all our friends across the Three Towns and further afield for their help."
