CALMAC have warned that services between Ardrossan and Arran could face disruption or cancellation due to the weather on Friday.
The ferry operator said: "Due to adverse weather forecast, service remains liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice.
"Customers are advised to travel as early in the day as possible.
"The 6pm from Ardrossan and 7.20pm from Brodick remain particularly liable to cancellation."
The company advised travellers to check their website for updates later in the day.
The company also revealed there will be no service running between Troon Harbour and Arran on Thursday, November 21.
This is due to essential works being carried out on the linkspan at Troon.
