TRAVEL and transport have long been reported as a challenge for residents and visitors to the Garnock Valley.
Now North Ayrshire Council want to hear the views of residents on the most pressing issues and the impact it has on their lives.
The council, on behalf of the Garnock Valley Locality Partnership Working Group, has commissioned transport consultants Sweco to carry out this research.
They are looking for as much information and data as possible to help identify what might make travelling to and around the Garnock Valley a little easier.
They want to find out exactly what the travel challenges and barriers are in the area, and the impact of these challenges on the community.
The results of the survey will provide an evidence base and justification for partners to work together towards identifying possible solutions.
The survey - which runs until December 8 - will help identify what transport challenges communities face when it comes to getting from A to B in and around the Garnock Valley.
If you would like to have your say, please complete this survey which should take approximately 10 minutes of your time.
North Ayrshire Council's Cabinet Member for Green Environment and Economy said Councillor Tony Gurney said: "It’s vital that our communities are connected and everyone has the same opportunity to access services and move around.
"The survey will help us get a clearer picture of what the issues are and we would urge as many people as possible to get involved and share their views."
You can complete the online survey here.
Paper versions of the survey are available on request in the Beith, Dalry and Kilbirnie libraries.
