A SALTCOATS venue is going the extra mile to ensure everyone can get involved in the fun of Christmas this year.
It comes as the Kids Village on Chapelwell Street has announced plans to host a lunch with Santa Claus for ASN kids.
The event will take place on Saturday, December 14, from 2.15-3.15pm with tickets costing £10 per child and £5 per adult.
Included as part of the price will be sandwiches and cakes for kids, and soup and a sandwiches for adults. Juice, tea and coffee will also be provided.
Adjustments will also be made for the event with the lights to be dimmed for the duration and makaton signs will also be in place.
All food will be served on individual plates rather than in a buffet style and music will be kept very low.
Santa has also promised to be very relaxed when he comes to visit.
