A KILWINNING ambulance area service manager has received a special recognition award for 50 years of service.
Ron Lilly, who is based at Kilwinning Station, was honoured at the second annual Tri Service Awards for his dedication to the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The award was presented to him by Scottish Ambulance Service CEO, Michael Dickson. He was one of several to be recognised for their commitment to the service.
Others who received awards included Robert Smith, Andrew Girvan, Chris Gorman, Keith Murphy, Scott Currie, Martin Galloway, Gary Agnew, and Victoria Armer.
A spokesperson said: "Big congratulations to all those staff in the Ayrshire region who was presented with accolades as part of the second annual Tri Service Awards.
"Well done to all and thanks to Ron for his incredible service."
