Promoting Kilwinning switched on the town’s Christmas lights in November 2009 and the event was well supported by the community, as usual.

North Ayrshire Council granted German company Zebec Biogas Limited and partners The William Tracey Group planning permission to build an Anaerobic Digestion facility.
