EXCITING plans have been revealed for the annual Christmas party hosted by the Ayrshire Dachshunds club.
The group has held some 'weenie' good parties in the past and organisers say this year's edition has the potential to be "biggest and best event we have ever had".
The event will be taking place on Saturday, December 14, with plenty of plans in place for pets and their owners.
The party will be held at the Geilsland Estate in Beith and will be running from 1-4pm.
A number of vendors have already been arranged to attend the event, which will also feature a Christmas disco and provide an opportunity for a photo with Santa.
There will also be a pupachino station in place to provide all Dachshunds with a little festive treat.
Various competitions will be run on the day with prizes on offer for the best dressed dog, adult and child.
Organisers say there will be "plenty more surprises" to be revealed closer to the day.
Those looking to book a spot at the party can do so at a price of £8 per family - with the cost consistent regardless of the number of dogs per household.
Places can be booked by contacting William Barclay on Facebook at facebook.com/williambarclay1.
